Introduction to Image analysis, segmentation and co-localization
The short course is jointly presented by imaging facility managers of several of Oxford's light microscopy imaging facilities and meant to provide a basic theoretical background for the everyday microscopy demands in Oxford's biomedical research institutes.
Image analysis course
The contents of the course include the basics of image analysis, how to automatically segment and count objects (2D and 3D), how to do colocalization analysis, how to use machine learning for denoising and segmentation, and how to automate tasks with macros (and more).
This is a free four half-day course, open to everyone. The curse runs twice per term every term.
